Len Brown, the pioneer of this field
Len Brown has been bringing awareness of SADDLE FITTING problems to horseback riders world-wide since 1983. Len invented a weight distributing system in a Saddlepad.
It was later patented and has been improving the performance of horses throughout the equine industry.
Len did this through clinics, booklets, videos and inventing the Ortho-Flex Panel systems that attached to a saddle. He spent millions educating riders in the industry.
IT CHANGED the WORLD OF THE HORSE. While ORTHO-FLEX became the largest saddlery in the US., there was never an article done in a major horse magazine! Ortho-flex was the first official barrel saddle of the NBHA in 1996.
A Never Ending “Adventurous Journey”
After having the 3 major publishers settle in an anti-trust legal action, Len shut the Company down in spring of 2001. It was not worth pursuing a battle with multi-billion dollar publishers supporting the rest of this industry.
By 2003 Len patented a weight distributing system and a saddle pad and that has seen been improving the performance of horses and their owners!

I sent you photos of the dry spots on my buckskin a few weeks ago, I ordered my protector from you last week and received it yesterday. Today, I tried it out for the first time with 3 shims in the front and none in the back and this is the first time I have not had DRY spots!!! I am blown away, I have tried every saddle and every pad, nothing has worked until now!!! Thank you, I don’t have words to explain how amazed I am with this product!!! It lives up to its name!!!
P.S. Any tips on how to store the pad? Should it lay closed on a shelf, hung on a saddle rack or put on top pf the saddle?
